We have been waiting to see the Spotify app in our iPhones for a long time. But that time is about to come since the Spotify team have already submited it to the AppStore, as we can read in the Spotify Blog.

The iPhone version should be no problem for those of you familiar with the desktop version, and for those of you thinking it will kill your 3G data plans dont worry, it will allow you to hear music even when you are offline. They also published a video of how it's going to look:

You will be able to install the iPhone app for free but you must own a Spotify premium subscription to use it.
Come on Apple... approve that sweet app NOW! ;)

Then the headline of the next post should be... "The AppStore hits back Spotify!" :D

Apple has rejected Google Voice application. I think that spotify will face the same fate :-(

Cool! But ... does not compete with iTunes. Is it not too close to iTunes to be approved by Apple?
