That's it, that's all. The long wait is over now, Steve Jobs is kickin' back again and it's time to analyze what we watched yesterday: "It's only Rock & Roll".
iTunes 9
Almost everything that we talked about was true (
iTunes 9 rumor mill) but we also got some new stuff we didn't heard about before:
-
iTunes LP: (known before as Cocktail) now we can purchase music with additional content: interactive multimedia, photos, interviews... it's pretty much what we have in DVD's but this time with music!
-
Homesharing: up to 5 computers can now share music, podcasts, TV-shows, movies and even applications, as easy as drag & drop.
-
Twitter and Facebook connectivity: share lists or wishes on your favourite social network.
-
Genius DJ: analyzes your library and creates music sessions. Perfect to have a rush party.
-
Better iPhone/iPod sync: the long waited app organizer is finally here, and you can also now select synchronizing by artist, music genre, TV-shows or podcasts.
-
new iTunes user interface: it's clearer and makes better use of the screen.
iPod family
-
iPod Touch: 32G and 64G versions come with faster hardware (3GS internals) while the 8Gb version has no upgrades but a reduces its price.
But, finally, none of them had camera.
-
iPod Shuffle: 2Gb and 4Gb versions with 3 new colors, also new earphones with the shuffle control will be available.
-
iPod Classic: it's not dead yet but it only had an upgrade in its storage: 160Gb.
-
iPod Nano: the real upgrade in the iPod family, and the only one to get a camera: shinny new colors, camera, microphone, speakers, fm transmitter, VoiceOver and a bigger screen. Now we can say the iPod Nano is the real star in the iPod product line.
So, this is it, what are going to buy??? :)
