iPhone's Monkey Island remake was released a few weeks ago, and its been in the top 10 paid apps since then. Now, two more old glories are going to hit the AppStore:

Civilization Revolution: a huge success back in 1991, it has had sequels and remakes in almost any device, and now its time for the iPhone to get his own Civilization. 16 civilizations, various difficulty levels, tutorials and some fresh stuff exclusive to the iPhone. For a limited time at $4.99, then it should be priced $9.99.

Simon The Sorcerer: there are a few adventure games everyone remembers, Monkey Island is one of those, and i would say Simon The Sorcerer (1993) is another one. This time, the iPhone version doesnt have new graphics, but have had its controls adapted to the multitouch screen and the music has been remastered. Only $4.99.

Definitely good games for this summer.

I love when they recover good ol' arcades for current platforms. However, sometimes the results are pretty lame, as happens with Golden Axe for iPhone. Graphics are terrible as they used to be, ok, but the screen gets completely covered with the controls!
