iPod Touch to get camera and microphone...
There are so many rumors that the iPod line, including iPod Touch, will be renewed this Fall. And after seeing the iPhone 3GS the iPod Touch upgrade seems like a must for Apple. The iPod Touch lacks of so many things right now: camera, microphone, vibration... and of course phone :)
The latest rumors come from Wired.com aim for some features to be included in the iPod Touch: "A well-connected source tells us those rumors are on the money, and that Apple's factories in China are already manufacturing iPod Touch models with integrated cameras and microphones."
In fact the rumors about video camera features in the iPod Touch would be senseless without a microphone to record the environmental sound, so this rumors makes sense.
Including a camera and mic in the iPhone would take the iPod one step beyond allowing it to take pictures/video, upload them using Wifi and even make Skype calls. That would the iPod Touch ahead of many other multimedia players in the market.
We will se that happens this Fall :)
