If you want to know something about iPhone development you can just google around a bit or get into the huge and helpfull
iPhone Dev Center. The documents you can find there are full of detail, so some of them are just too deep and you won't probably need them, but there are some of them wich are a must (for example the
iPhone Human Interface Guidelines).
This weekend Apple added one more section to the dev portal, and it's one of those must-read sections. It is called the
App Store Resource Center and there you will find 3 guides about the whole App Store process: before submitting, waiting for approval and apps administration after approval (updates, pricing...). They are all worth to take a look in case you are a developer or you are just curious about the behind-the-scenes.
We have complained about the App Store a few times in the past (
[1] [2]) and we even made some made fun of it (
[3]) but after the
Google Voice rejection problem it seems Apple has decided to enlighten us with some official information, which we think is a wonderful idea.
So if you own a developer account check out the new
Apple's App Store Resource Center, it is definitely worth ;)
